UZDIVANO is a custom upholstered furniture studio in Tashkent. We create sofas, beds, armchairs, and upholstered panels based on photographs, design projects, or your own unique ideas.

Constructive choice

We select the material based on function.

Each material serves a specific purpose. While OSB, particleboard, and MDF are used in decorative or auxiliary components, UZDIVANO prefers birch plywood and solid timber for load-bearing structures.

Our top choice for the framework. It offers exceptional flexural strength, resistance to dynamic loads, and long-lasting, squeak-free performance.

They are suitably applied for the perfect geometry of flat facades, lightweight decorative elements, and removable technical panels.

+ Textiles and upholstery

The Martindale test measures abrasion resistance. The pilling rating guarantees that the fabric will not form pills over time.

The grammage (surface density) of upholstery fabric is the weight of one square meter of the material—measured in grams per square meter (g/m²)—which determines the strength and durability of the upholstery.

Fabric is not just color.

Tactile qualities and texture depth are selected to suit the character of the interior, while care instructions are tailored to your specific usage scenario.

Selecting upholstery relies on balancing aesthetics and physical properties so that the sofa retains its pristine appearance during everyday use.

Density determines service life, while firmness dictates the comfort of the seating experience. The seat, backrest, and armrests require completely different types of filling to ensure optimal weight distribution.
